Children's Museum One Sky One World international kite day

We'll meet at Starbucks at REI at 11 AM, and then walk about half a mile to the beautiful kite event at the Children's Museum after a short snack and chat time together.

The 27th Annual
One Sky One World Denver will begin at 12 noon with a Kids kite workshop, followed by demos by
our local Rocky Mountain Kite
Association on Meetup
and kids
kite flying.

This has become a
worldwide event which started
here in Denver in 1985, when
Jane Parker-Ambrose presented a kite to the Soviet Union as a gesture for world peace and understanding symbolized by the Kite.

Reminder:  Although the kite flying events are outdoors, adults can not allowed into the Children's Museum without being accompanied by a child.  So invite children to join you, if you'd like to go inside the museum.

In our TTWalks files on this link, you can view a full-size PDF copy of the 2012 OSOW flyer below.

Neat place to visit. You need to bring at least one child, to enter.
