For more details, see the full listing:

When: Monday, July 4, 2011 8:30 AM

Where: Four Mile Historic Park
715 S Forest St
Denver, CO 80246

Starting Point: Meet Fran Rew in the picnic gazebo west of the FMHP Grant Family Education Center main entrance.

Before our visit to the Four Mile Historic Park's annual 4th of July celebration, you could join us at 8:30 AM for a 30-minute stretching walk on the dirt path next to the creek behind the museum. About 9:00 AM we'll return to our Meetup starting point in the picnic gazebo west of the Grant Family Education Center's FMHP main entrance. We can sit and chat and participate in a 30 minute interactive demonstration of how to post and host Meetup events online.

If you already know what you'd like to post and host, together we could post your hosted museum visit and/or walk as a demonstration.

The FMHP's marvelous annual 4th of July celebrations opens at 10 AM. I added some pictures below of what you could expect to see at this event. You can read more about the admission fee and numerous activities on the FMHP's Event Calendar .

In the afternoon, you may want to plan to visit the spectacularCherry Creek Arts Festival about a mile and a half west of the FMHP.

The first picture at the beginning of this announcement is a group of Topic-Talk Walkers in front of the Four Mile Historic Park's Grant Family Education Center. We'll be collaborating with this Topic-Talk walks Meetup group for this event. The picnic gazebo where we will meet before the FMHP opens is to the right (west) of this center. The 2nd and 3rd pictures below are examples of what you can expect to see at the 4th of July celebration.
