Hello Denver Museum Meetup Group Members!
For one hour just before your museum visit, you have an opportunity to enjoy the spring blossoms in a walking conversation together in Denver's City Park. This coming Wednesday, April 28th and again on Wednesday, May 26th, from 6-7 PM in Denver's City Park, our collaborating Meetup group called Topic-Talk Walks has scheduled an opportunity to share a FREE fascinating walking conversation with Rev. Nelson Bock, Director of Outreach and Advocacy for the Colorado Interfaith Power and Light. The topic is "Spirituality and Sustainability: Reflecting on 40 years of Earth Day". There is no rain date for either schedule. Of course every walk also includes an "Open Topic" as well. If the weather permits, we'll have an opportunity to share both April and May walking conversations.
After TTW's monthly walk, they have a monthly visit to the Planetarium for the FREE presentations of "60 Minutes in Space". This is the first time TTW and The Denver Museum Meetup Group (DMM) have shared TTW's monthly events. Currently the April 28th event has 18 "Yes" RSVPs from the combined TTW and DMM groups.
Richard and I are sharing our TTW group's 10 reservations with the DMM group on a first-come-first-serve basis, saving 4 reservations (not counting Richard and I) for our TTW group, and 6 reservations for the DMM group. The rest of us will get in on a space-available basis.
Usually there are about 20 unreserved seats available due to under-booking and cancelations. So we believe we will ALL be able to get seats. Usually, people without reservations sit in the front row.
If you haven't already done so, please RSVP for April and/or May from the links below, and share this email and the flyer below with your friends. Please feel free to call Richard or me (Fran) if you have any questions or comments. Our contact information is below the flyer.
