Now that the event is two days away a few details that I want to remind everyone of.
1. When we arrive at the museum, we will meet our docent and art teacher at the museum side-entrance (right in front of the parking lot). The tour will start promptly at 12:30 P.M followed by a one hour studio art class. PLEASE PLAN ON ARRIVE 15 minutes early so that you can check in with me.
2. Payment: The museum would prefer if I made one group payment. Please give me $15.00 when you arrive on Saturday which will include the meetup fee and I will make one payment for the group. If arrive before I do please do not pay without me. This will make our large group payment confusing. Please bring $15.00 in cash and do not plan to pay with your credit card.
3. If you need to reach me please send an email, or call, text to[masked]-6466. If you arrive late the tour will start before you.
4. Please change your RSVP STATUS TO NO if you do not plan on attending. You will be marked as a NO SHOW if you do not change your status.
I scheduled a private highlights tour and a one hour art lesson at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, New Jersey. The event will take place from 12:30-2:30 p.m on Saturday, March 29th, 2014. The event will start with a ONE hour highlights tour followed by a ONE hour art lesson in the studio with a museum art teacher. Not much of an artist myself but I thought this would be a fun add on for the group experience. Cost: The cost of the event is $15.00 per person. (Please note that this cost includes the full two hours - tour, art lesson, group deposit and meet up fee). I will not be collecting an additional dollar for meet up costs for this meet up as I am including that in the total amount due. If some people from Manhattan decide to attend this event please see the directions below on how to get to the Museum from NJ Transit. If you tell me ahead of time that you are arriving my train, as long as your train gets 20 minutes before the expected start time of the tour, I can try to make arrangements with you to pick you up at the train station so that you will not have to take the bus from the train station to the museum. Other members may be willing to help also. But please make your plans known ahead of time. Please see the directions to the museum below:

After the tour:
Montclair is a great town with a lot of resturants and bars. After our two hours at the museum if anyone is up for a meal and or drinks, I can look into one of the many local establishments in the area to make a reservation. I will get a count of who might be planning to attend the social outing as the date draws near. As always if you have any questions please feel free to email me or call me at [masked] or[masked]-6466.
