I know this might seem a bit different from the natural meetups that I host but I figured that I would give it a try. Starting next week the Montclair Film Festival will begin. I have never attended but I am a huge fan of independent films and documentaries. I thought it would be cool if a group would like to attend a screening together on Saturday evening May 3rd, 2014. Below is a copy of the description:
When atrocities escalate, Human Rights Watch sends its emergency “E-Team” to document abuses before they’re concealed or forgotten. Oscar-winning director (and NJ resident) Ross Kauffman teams with Katy Chevigny to follow the E-Team’s work in Libya and Syria, finding levity and humanity even under harsh circumstances.
Location: Bellevue Theater 2, Montclair, New Jersey. Please note that the running time is 89 minutes. You also have to pay for your ticket individually online. I am going to purchase my ticket tonight. I am sure these events sell out quick so if you want to attend it is best to purchase right away. Tickets are $14.00 and I will not be collecting additional money for a meetup cost at this event. Depending on the number of people attending we can either meetup a little early and grab something to eat and a drink or play it by ear. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call at[masked]-6466.
