Long-time lover of fungi. Cooking them and eating them are especial delights. I now have more experience foraging, and I'm happy to share what I know with others.
Great, friendly group. I'm glad we joined. I look forward to learning more, and making friends -- at the end of the day, Jean cut a huge chicken mushroom (laetiporus sulphureus) up and bagged the pieces so that everyone could go home with something tasty after the day's hike. Imagine my surprise when we got home and found a huge chicken mushroom (laetiporus cincinnatus) lying right on our front lawn. We've invited friends over to share the bounty.
