What kind of dancing do you like to do?
Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, & Blues! I can also Cha Cha, Salsa, and dance other ballroom styles.

I joined this meetup group over a year ago and started going to meetups at 5 Spot... I've enjoyed the people and the dance community so much - everyone was so friendly and patient with me, even though I only knew East Coast Swing, a little West Coast & Ballroom. I just kept going out to dances. I've since taken classes and workshops to learn Lindy Hop and I dance several times a week. I dropped 25 lbs from all the dancing - and eating well of course! I now volunteer with our dance community, with my photography and design for the web site, and our flyers. I joined the Nashville Swing Dance Foundation board. I recently went to Lindy Focus in Asheville, NC, auditioned and placed in the Intermediate/Advanced level, thanks to all the great teachers here in Nashville. And I absolutely LOVE Lindy Hop! They feature foreign films and it's free. I have it scheduled as a meeting under the Nashville Horror meetup.
