Reviews and Critics’ Comments

The audience fairly exploded Saturday night in the most uproarious ovation I can remember at a Dallas Symphony Orchestra classical concert.”
Dallas Morning News

The audience loved every minute of it and Copeland was given an ovation that Puccini would have envied after the premiere of Butterfly.”

“…This is a work one could easily imagine in the other great
concert halls of the world, with all of the major orchestras.”

A true testament to Maestro van Zweden’s depth of skills that he so gracefully fused improvisational percussion and scored orchestra. His intense focus on the band’s spontaneity was thrilling to behold.”

@ 9 p.m.
We’ll head over to La Vita  Dolcein Little Italy, 12112 Mayfield Road,[masked] for dinner, drinks and conversation.

La Dolce Vita Bistro – Named after Federico Fellini’s classic Italian film meaning “The Sweet Life,” a restaurant and bistro created to recapture the bell-epoque charm of “The Italian Drug,” opened here by Dr. Anthony Caruso in 1914. In the tradition of the great Europian bistros, La Dolce Vita is devoted to providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for everything from eight course dinners to coffee and Calvino. We strive to prepare the perfect meal, or the perfect cappuccino, and let you enjoy it at your leisure. Our pasta is cooked fresh to order, our sauces and dressing are painstakingly prepared using only the finest ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, the freshest vegetables, imported whole tomatoes, fresh basil and Italian parsley... and your table is reserved for the evening.

So allow yourself to drift back to an age when time was life’s greatest commodity. Relax and enjoy the sweet life (and please don’t keep it a secret.)
