The Northern Virginia Musicians Workshop is a monthly event where musicians of ALL skill levels can practice the Art of Performing in front of an audience and share feedback with encouraging peers.

I think it's different (but not better) than a jam or a song circle, because it was created to provide you the platform to try out new songs, covers and stories in a low-stress environment.

Jerad Walker of WAMU 88.5 Bluegrass Country describes it like "Toastmasters for musicians." And it totally is. Come join us, won't you?

If you're a regularly performing musician and would like to be a featured guest artist, please let me know! We love to have "the pros" share their songs, experiences and wisdom with our aspiring musicians. And you can use the opportunity to reach some more potential fans.
