The findings of the 90-day report resonated with the key factors that I have seen in my own work in edtech. Data is a great way to get different stakeholders working towards a common solution. But, there is an obvious need for balance when organizing available data points without prescribing an obvious solution. The My Brother's Keeper team at the Department of Education and the Beeck Center seem to be going into this data jam readily prepared to facilitate any and all available solutions.

I would gladly donate a large portion of my time to lead any policy/legislative work that needs to be done. There is a long history of educational reform initiatives that could help advise the teams that participate in the data jam. I also definitely plan to be in attendance in August!
