What game development project are you currently working on?

Deepwater Creations is collaborating with a friend of ours to create a jRPG, codenamed "Wuthering Heights" for some reason. C++ with the Allegro 5 library. We're aiming for original storytelling, deep and strategic combat, and to break free from the genre's more troublesome conventions while still drawing inspiration from our favorite classics.

What aspect of indie games most excites you?

Games are at their best when they challenge the player. That can be in terms of skill or reflexes, but it can also be in terms of ideas. This, I think, is a great strength that indie games have - they have the ability to try new things, even to make their audience uncomfortable.

What's your favorite indie game evar?

What's your area of development expertise (coder, artist, designer, general developer, tester etc.)?

Coder, designer, writer.

Introduction

From the darkest depths of the strange ocean that covers the surface of one distant pan-dimensional iteration of Earth, a transmission is being broadcast across realities... Deepwater Creations is the solo abode of a man named Dylan Craine.
