This class focuses on building up a powerful internal reservoir of qi and expanding your energy, even beyond the limits of the physical body.

We will engage in breath work, visualization, and a traditional exercise set (rotating weekly between the Daoist Wu Zang "five yin organ" exercises and the Ba Duan Jin "eight pieces of brocade"). Practice is done slowly and intently, with a high level of mindfulness, ending with a guided meditation.
This session offers a strong foundation to anyone exploring their energetic potential. It also benefits anyone afflicted by stress, weakness, or low energy.
What To Wear:
Wear loose comfortable clothing. The studio can be a little cool, so you may want to bring a light sweater.
What To Bring:
For the seated exercises, a pillow or yoga mat is recommended. Some pillows available at the studio. A water bottle is recommended, though we will not be doing heavy exercises.
Enter through the side gate (left of the main gate). Follow the pathway along the left side of the house to the back yard. The studio will be on your right. Please remove your shoes before entering!
