MICROCOSM is a new kind of event: it gathers together hobbyists from a wide variety of interests all under a single roof. Here are a few of the driving principles behind the event, which truly make it one like no other.

"Abronia - The Arboreal Alligator Lizards of Mesoamerica " will be presented by Rob Nixon, discussing his travels to their habitat in southern Mexico as well as natural history.
"A Decade of Discovery: Reflections on Natural History, Taxonomy and Captive Poison Frogs"
Our keynote presentation will given by Jason Lee Brown(pictured), whose research focuses on the ecology, evolution and behavior of poison dart frogs. He is also one of the co-creators of Dendrobates.org.
