AND this afternoon there is live music in the garden! It just doesn't get much better than this!

La Buena Vida, which means “the good life” in Spanish, has been producing Texas wine for 26 years. Owner and winemaker Dr. Bobby G. Smith has won numerous awards through the years, but his ports, made with Champercin grapes from the vineyards in Springtown, have reached cult status. The wines are released under several labels, including La Buena Vida, Scarborough Mead, Springtown, Texas Gold, and Walnut Creek Cellars.

Should I start with a Margarita or start with a swirl... Both have white wine in it, right???? lol

Famous for Tex Mex, Notorious for Margaritas” Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano is a well known and long loved tradition that is a popular part of the downtown Grapevine experience. Just a short walk off of Main Street on E. Worth Street, the restaurant occupies a late 1800’s renovated house inside the historic district. Well known for its atmosphere, Tex Mex dishes, margaritas and local scene, Esparza’s has been offering a little something for everyone since 1985. This place and all it has to offer is hard to beat any day or night of the week.

For those that want to continue on Main after dinner... there is Willhoite's, Tolbert's, Tap Inn for music and dancing... or you can continue a wine adventure at Tastings or get a little cozy at Into the Glass.

Now that sounds like a plan to me!

This was my first event. Enjoyed La Buena Vida Winery and Esparza's. Unfortunately it was very hot to be outside drinking wine but enjoyed it all.

Beautiful Patio at La Buena Vida! The staff is fun, friendly, and very informative. Esparza's yummy!
    •  La Buena Vida is a lovely winery and the wines I chose were very good. I really liked the music which was inside but it was too loud making it difficult to talk and it was too hot outside for me. The wines I chose were very good - I really enjoyed them. A friend of mine and I had a cheese, fruit and meat plate with crackers that was delicious and the price was quite reasonable. The servers were very busy but seemed a bit disorganized. They were easily distracted in the middle of serving my order and it took forever to pay the bill at the cash register. We did not go to Esparza's as we were not in the mood for Mexican food so I cannot rate that restaurant.
