French dinner @ Cadot

Special Note: Dinner & Entertainment at Normandie Alliance (BYOB), scheduled to occur on June 27, 2009 6:45 PM has been canceled as the restaurant is closed. Here's what we've found to replace it. We may be able to increase the group size so don't hesitate to Wait List yourself.

Though Cadot just opened 4 weeks ago, there’s some great buzz already about this place. Located where Positano was until last year, chefs Jean Marie Cadot (of Lavendou fame) and Gaspar Stantic (well know in DFW for 20+ years) have partnered to bring their classical French training with a contemporary slant to the table. Here’s a quote from Chef Stantic about the Cadot menu: "We're doing New American. I do a little bit French, a little bit American cuisine; it is a beautiful menu."

It is NOT BYOB as I was informed; it's erroneous info and has caused them a fair amount of confusion. There's a full bar, and plenty of their wines are in the $40 range per bottle.

Their website is under construction, but the menu is posted in PDF at the very bottom of the page. Yum!

Dress code: Smart Casual

No Shows - Email the Organizer as soon as possible.
Changing your RSVP to “no” less than 24 hours before an event - Email the organizer. Not doing so is considered a “no-show”.
