Introduction

I am a wine enthusiast and thought that joining a group of others who appreciate the art of wine might be fun.

What kind of wines do you like ? Any specific reason you picked that wine?

It depends upon the season. I prefer whites during the summer and reds in the winter. My favorite used to be Chardonnay, but I recently discovered that I like pino.

What kind of wine tastings and events would you like to see planned for this group?

I am more of a fan of the boutique and local wineries just because I like to support local businesses and experience what they are doing. It is funny to introduce wines to some of my girlfriends who judge wine on price instead of taste.

Why did you choose to join this group instead of one of the other wine groups on Meetup?

I was not looking for a wine meetup. It was suggested by the computer algorithm.

Describe a wine tasting that was memorable.

I went to the Riedel wine tasting at Morton's which showcased their glasses in a rather unique way. That was the most fun I have ever had, and it wasn't about the wine, but the glass.
