Volunteer at Ricesticks and Tea

Founded in 1998, Ricesticks and Tea (RST) Asian Food Pantry is a program that addresses the needs of Asian immigrants and refugee families by providing culturally sensitive food not typically available in mainstream food pantries and food banks. On the second Saturday of each month volunteers from Tufts Medical Center, Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, other non-profits similar to NAAAP Boston, and individuals help package and distribute food to over 125 pre-qualified, income eligible Asian families from Greater Boston.

Join us as volunteers to help sort canned goods and prepackaged food products into plastic shopping bags for distribution to the needy families. Volunteers will also distribute and assist the families and senior citizens by helping them carry their food items up several flights of stairs at the entrance.

This Meetup event is for advertising purposes only, so please RSVP on the NAAAP website if you would like to volunteer:

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
