Open board game and card game night - feel free to drop in! We have a large library of advanced board games and card games.  There are usually a couple games running at any given time, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to jump into a game. Doors open at 5:00pm; games usually get going around 6:00pm and end between 10:00 and Midnight.

I think you would like Friday night as well. Its a night of longer games and table top goodness.

I'll be there this Friday. I sometimes have another Friday thing, but with a weird schedule.

We just did a long series all the Railways of the World (and Time) games on Fridays. I missed at least Canada, and I'm sure some other people missed some. They were quite popular.

I'm playing Pathfinder on Friday, but am always up for Railways on Wednesday. Perhaps Mexico or England - those are smaller maps and will be a shorter game.

The third game, if we have time, is a game called Symetra. It's a game played with hexagonal tiles that, when placed next to other tiles, interacts with those tiles in varied ways. The theme is a little strange, but it's actually a pretty solid game with a lot of interesting card interactions. You can find out more about it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/886336922/symetra-hexagonal-card-game-of-elements-emotions-a?ref=nav_search

I look forward to seeing you all again!

Hi all. I am going to be bringing 3 Kickstarter demos for this week. I aim to get there by 5 to demo the 1st. I am going to go for at least 2, but we'll do 3 if everyone is up for it.

1st up at 5'ish - a game called Bedtime Heroes in which players take on the roles of toys attempting to defend their Dreamers (sleeping children) from monsters. It's a simple card and dice game that takes maybe a minute to learn. If you'd like to read more about it, you can check out the Kickstarter page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/118018119/bedtime-heroes-the-card-and-dice-game?ref=nav_search

The 2nd game that I will be demoing (and this is the one that I am the most excited about) is a game called Waggle Dance. For those of you that don't already know, a 'waggle dance' is a dance that bees do to let other bees know where food can be found. It's a dice-rolling, worker placement game about bees and making honey: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1811420414/waggle-dance?ref=nav_search
