Two separate peer-led groups meet the 1st three Monday nights of each month. One is for family members of a person with a mental illness.  The other is for people who have a mental illness diagnosis.  The groups are not for one specific diagnosis and everyone is welcome to attend.  The groups are free.

I really enjoyed my first family support meeting. It was very informative and the facilitator was great!

Will he go to a Dr or try medication? It really depends on if his brain chemistry is causing it or if he has hit a rough patch. Show him and tell him you are there if he wants to talk. Be supportive but don't force. Guys tend to deal with depression differently

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
