What do you hope to get from the NANPA Nature Photography Meetup Group?

I want to gain improved technical skills with the camera and develop confidence in taking outdoor photos of nature and wildlife in a variety of settings and lighting conditions.

How would you define your level of photography experience (beginner, intermediate, or professional)?

Definitely a beginner after years of using automated settings--point and shoot.

How did you hear about this group?

I heard about meet up groups from my partner. After looking into it, it seemed the perfect idea and way to develop photography interests, enjoy this hobby together and meet other people with similar interests.

May we add you to the North American Nature Photography Association email list (you will receive emails about educational opportunities through NANPA, the group that organizers the Meetups)?

Yes, I would appreciate it.

I recently retired and moved to Alaska. I enjoy traveling, reading, music, outdoors--and learning photography.
