West Side Slow Ride

For those seeking a west side option for a slow ride, or just a change of scenery, we'll take a casual tour along the following route:
From Richland Park in Sylvan Park (departing at 6:30 PM) around the McCabe Park greenway, then through SP and Sylvan Heights to Centennial Park. Return along Charlotte Ave via the connector. End back at Richland Park.
Please bring helmets and bike lights.

Debbie and I enjoyed meeting everyone unfortunately her chain broke early into the ride and we had to turn back. Looking forward to the next one.

Excellent route. Would loved to have had a midway stop in Centennial Park.

Got there at 6:36 at the Library lot and you were all long gone- ran into the gentleman and wife who's chain broke on first hill- they gave me the cue sheet and I hightailed it into the park to meet up- Then...noticed my headlamp lost power. Arrrgh! Peddled thought the greenway till dusk really began to settle and rode back to car with taillights ablaze. Catch you next time......

That's right, Randy -- the event is co-listed on Nashville Slow Ride and West Side Rides. It is a big group! I'm going to close registration here at 20 riders -- since our goal is a casual fun ride and not conquering the park and greenway :)

It appears two different slow rides (West Side Rides) and Slow Ride are riding as two different groups on the same course. Am I crazy or is McCabe Park going to look like a pelaton?

A little embarrassed...totally have a granny bike with a basket, no bike rack, nothing cool about it. But, love to tool around on my bike. Guess that sums it up! You will know me by the clanking and clomping while getting my bike out of my car:)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
