Yesterday was the beginning of Bike Month around the nation. Nashville has a full agenda you can see here.
The National Bike Challenge started yesterday and you can record all your rides, earn points and help the Nashville Slow Ride team. Join here and then search for Nashville Slow Riders. We have 15 team members and need more help.
There is still time to register for the Tennessee Bike Summit where you can join advocates from around the state to hear great speakers and participate in workshops on how to build cycling in Tennessee. Yours truly will be part of two panels and you don’t want to miss that.
May 16 is Bike to Work Day and you should join the group riding downtown from your neighborhood.
There are nine different group rides from different parts of town.
And the piece de resistance is the Gran Tour de Nash on May 17.
We need some members to step up and schedule some rides and May is a good time to start.
