First day of Autumn at Charlotte's Blueberry Farm!

  • This location is shown only to members

  • Let's meetup at Charlotte's Blueberry Farm to visit, enjoy the first day of Fall and pick some blueberries! Bring a beverage and a snack to share! We'll enjoy a casual potluck style picnic, each other's company and some relaxing blueberry picking! Be sure to bring a container to gather the berries in!

Since the Blueberry Park Project started in 1999, more than 3,372 bushes have been trimmed to ground level and are now producing fruit. Five varieties of blueberries grow in the park. Picking season runs from July through September each year (dependent on weather). Metro Parks does not use any pesticides or fertilizers on the blueberry plants, they are grown naturally. There is no fee to pick the blueberries which are first-come-first-serve during picking season.

I've never been there. This sounds like fun. I'll see if I can make it!

I want to go, but I don't think the HAWKS will be done in time. Thanks for organizing an interesting adventure.

How late are they open? Maybe we can join you after the game?
