Move It Monday

From Lori: It's time to get moving. What better time than Monday to start the week off right.

Let's meet up to walk the Interurban Trail. I like to start at the parking lot just
east of Foster Park in Kent at 259th and 74th Ave. S. (I have found that going south from here I can walk a good 40 minutes without crossing any major roads and having to worry about traffic. There is one train crossing that sometimes hold us up for a bit but not often).

Let's meet up about 5:45pm and take off down the trail about 6pm. walk for 20-40 minutes then turn around and come on back.

Looks like we are going to have a good size group for walking.

Directions from 167   take the Willis Street exit.(showare exit)Southbound turn left, Northbound turn right off the exit. Take the first right that doesn't put you back on 167 this should be 74th Ave. S. the road curves then straightens out a little bit then take a sharp left turning into 259th. as soon as you turn (and you will have to to stay on the road) you will see a train overpass. parking is just before you would go under the overpass and that is where we will meet. (if you are coming from Central Avenue instead of 167th on 259th then the parking is just after you cross under the overpass)

Meet up is at 5:45 and we will start walking at 6pm sharp. if you get there a few minutes past 6 and we are not there then we have headed south down the trail towards Auburn. We will probably start out slow so you may be able to catch up.

I do not have a smart phone so I will be unable to check the meetup site for last minute changes. I will be checking in just before I leave work about 5:15 so I know who to look for. Please try to update your status before 5pm if you can't make it. If you get lost or are running just a bit late then you can call me at[masked]-2410.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

I like this, walking as a group should be fun. I would love to join in June when my classes are over. My class starts at 7pm

Looks like we are getting a good group ready for this walking. Hope the rain clears up by mid May. (I will probably still walking in a light rain.)
