NBH Social Night
Ceilidh Dancing at Cecil Sharp House
in association with London Ceilidh Club
Get a taste of Scotland in London at the Ceilidh Club. No experience necessary as all the dances are called. Join the kilted masses and people from all over the world. No age limit. There's no set dress code, but tartan is appreciated. Advisable to wear comfy shoes for vigorous dancing. A caller explains each dance.
Join us for our NBH Social Night, which provides you an opportunity to have a good time socialising and meeting new people, friends and potential friends.
Please also appreciate that the main purpose of the events on this site is to provide you with an opportunity to socialise and meet new people.
Come along and dance your socks off at the February Meet Up. The weather's cold and horrible, but inside the hall there's warmth, humour, fun and friendship. All waiting for you.....
A rocking atmosphere: 3 hours of ceilidh dancing with all the steps explained. There's a bar (whew!), a cloakroom and a lovely cafe. So come along and enjoy a Meet Up at one of London's longest running clubs.
There is a special Meet Up price of £12.50 plus 10% booking fee. Use the code FEBMEET1 to get the deal when booking. The Meet Up discount is only available for tickets bought in advance. Door tickets are £16.50 or £10 concession (students, unemployed, retired).

MEET: There will be a 'Meet Up' sign just inside the main hall.
NBH Social Nights will be regular events and held at different venues across London. The actual venues used and the activities involved, i.e. meal, drinks, etc., whilst selected with care, and intended to be enjoyable and of good standard, they are only secondary to the main purpose. Therefore if the waiter is a little slow in bringing your main course to you, or you have to queue a little while to buy your drinks, keep it in perspective and don't let it spoil your evening. Focus on the social interaction. That way you will find that the events that you attend, will be all the more rewarding.
Finally, NBH events are all held in venues and places that are open to the public. Consequently please understand that your organiser is not able to control the environment and that attendance is at your own risk. Therefore please be vigilant, particularly with your belongings and safety.
Bring a partner or a friend, all are invited until the end.
