There may be plentiful green spaces in London, but when it comes to planning a picnic there are some places that have the edge on views, ambiance and shelter, and a great spots to lay your picnic blanket……

Join us for a fun day out with lots of outdoor games and a picnic at Alexandra Palace with the best panoramic views across London’s skyline.

Bring your picnic blanket, food and drink, and i'll bring giant outdoor games for all to share.

We will continue the our day with drinks at the Bar & Kitchen inside Ally Pally.

The People’s Park boasts panoramic views of London’s skyline which are second to none. These breathtaking views stretch from Canary Wharf to St Paul’s Cathedral and the Shard, and really must be seen to be believed. On a clear day can you believe that the view stretches even further afield with Crystal Palace’s transmitter being visible on the horizon!

Bring a partner or a friend, all are invited until the end……with  music, games and fun & laughter throughout the day.

The People’s Palace is yours to enjoy, the 7 acre Palace is surrounded by 196 acres of beautiful parkland, and grounds that boast a pub & restaurant, ice rink, boating lake, pitch & putt course, and a farmers market on Sundays between 10am-3pm, 1,500 free parking spaces and much, much more.

Meeting Point

We will meet at 1.30pm on the South Slope in front of the Palace building.

If anyone wants to meet at 11.30am and visit the farmers market first let me know below.

A fantastic day! Got to see the imposing Ally Pally, but more importantly got to enjoy the lovely weather with some cool and interesting people, and play some great park games. The only negative was the number of people that chose to do something else on this sunny day, rather than fulfil their commitment to attend, thus making the great effort Michael went to, fall flat somewhat.

Breaking news; I can finally say I don't hate team sports! Volley ball was great, but the real eye opener was Mino's unorthodox, but extraordinary (and accurate) frisby throwing action! This really should be on Youtube!!
