Please reserve 4 May as a Trails Workday if you are available.

The opportunity to start clearing the right of way for the "Missing Link" to tie the 60 miles of Falls Lake Trail to the ENO trails has been approved.

Saturday 4 May and most likely 11 May as well will be CHAINSAW WORKDAYS.

There are plenty of qualified sawyers, but "SWAMPERS" are needed. This specialized work is to clear the sawed log pieces off the trail after the sawyer has made the cut. Anybody can do it. Just need a little comon sense and working in pairs to clear the cut logs. There are about a hundred fallen trees across the proposed trail that must be cleared for the 18 May FMST/ENO Trail Construction Workday. In April 2009 FMST had 125 volunteers construct nearly 1 1/4 miles of trail along the Falls Lake. WE CAN DO IT!

Anybody qualifies as a potential "SWAMPER" if 78 year old Will Farmer has done it and Donna Farmer as well. To be inspired, go to the photos from the 30 March Chainsaw/Griphoist Workday.

A FMST Meetup Workday will be published. This is a save the day & pencil it in for a new kind of activity: "SWAMPIN"
