What games are you most interested in playing or learning? (If you do not know the specific name of the game, then the genre or type of game is fine.) Do you have any favorites?

I may be old fashioned, but I prefer 3.5 edition. I have not ever played 4.0 and aren't even sure I desire to. My favorite campaign setting is Dragonlance, although it is not as popular as other settings I believe it has a flavor/character that makes it the best.

What area of town do you live? How far are you willing to travel for an event or group activity?

If you know where Century III Mall is, you can find me easily.

Do you have any skills or talents such as Teaching Games, Organizing Group Events, Photo Taking & Uploading, Voice Acting, Game Design, Writing, Drawing, or acting as a DM/GM that you are willing to share with your gaming group and/or other members?

I am a story teller by nature. I write articles for a nursing forum, and in these articles I often tell a story to better make my point about healthcare. This is reflected in my gaming style. I enjoy the story leading up to the victory more than the victory itself. Often, as a player, I will make decisions that contribute to my characters story instead of the decisions that make the most sense on paper. I have software for map making, which I am using to finish up creating the campaign setting I am working on. My apartment is ideal for gaming, plenty of room, a large dinning room table, good lighting etc etc.

To help us tell you apart from other members, we prefer you add a photo to your profile. A last name or a last initial is also helpful. We recommend you read the 'About Us', 'FAQ' and 'Pages' for information about the NCG. Have you read all three?

Yes, I have read them.

Have you read our Code of Conduct policy and do you agree to it? (Simply click on Discussions and then Message Board to find the FAQ section for the Code of Conduct.)

Yes.

Introduction

I have many fond memories of playing D+D in my youth. I'd like to find that magic again. I believe "gamers" are a unique breed of people. My enjoyment of D+D comes from enjoying their company as much as playing the actual game.
