Jonathan Tenney: THE ASTROLOGICAL READING: TRICKS OF THE TRADE
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Building C, Room C210
An astrological "reading" can be a place where we converse, and perhaps even cavort, with the gods and goddesses who animate our lives. Mercurius/Hermes is a reliable, if somewhat tricky, guide as to how we might go about convening this gathering and engaging in interesting conversation.
The chart has stories to tell, memories to recall, struggles to engage, ironies to amuse us, and abounding synchronicities to beguile us. Using the crafts of inquiry, evocation, and deep listening we will be more able to follow this discourse and learn the dream-body language which the chart speaks. So...this will be our endeavor in this talk...to learn better how we might "read a chart" sitting at the altar of Hermes learning the magical art of soul-making so we can help one another to walk a true path through this world. Whether you have only a little or a lot of experience with astrology or chart reading this talk will likely inspire you to take the next step with your astrological calling...and even give you some practical tools or tricks of the trade to speed you on your way.
