Welcome to the Ecozoic Age: The Legacy of Thomas Berry

Come join us for a presentation entitled: Welcome to the Ecozoic Age: The Legacy of Thomas Berry, by Alice Loyd and Herman Greene. For everyone who wonders about the connections between faith, stewardship and the role of human beings in the biosphere – you’ll delight to discover the works of the late Thomas Berry. A Catholic-trained cultural historian who called himself a “geologian,” Berry spent his final years in Greensboro. His books “The Dream of the Earth” and “The Great Work” inspired thousands and led to creation of the Center for Ecozoic Studies http://www.ecozoicstudies.org/, founded by Herman Greene, as a forum for people who do not see faith and science as counter-posed, but as partners in a rich dialogue. He will be joined by Alice Loyd, an energy & food activist who is on the board of the CES and is former executive director of NC Interfaith Power & Light, a program of the NC Council of Churches. Free.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
