The Pursuit of Happiness

As you rush around this holiday season, do you ever wonder why we do all this? Are there parts we could forgo? What really makes us happy? We want to simplify our lives, but often we neglect the internal landscapes that hinder change. It turns out that many of our lived assumptions about happiness are false. In fact, some things we thought made us happy actually have the opposite effect! Join Ruth Backstrom, PhD, of Transition Durham, a life coach and meditation instructor, to learn about what really works! Suggested donation: $5, no one turned away.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
