Introduction
Current organizer for the meetup group. Meeting host at Arcadia Cohousing and plan occasional events. Interested in learning, sharing, and of course powering down.
What form of transportation most used?
Station wagon used to cart around the kids, but bicycle whenever I can. Driver to work is 28 miles, but carpool and drive a VW Jetta running biodiesel.
Type of dwelling?
Fairly typical stick-frame house located in the Arcadia Cohousing community.
How have you reduced your fossil fuel consumption since learning about Peak Oil?
I have reduced it primarily as a lifestyle choice rather than something that I expected to lose, but my new appreciation for the urgency of peak oil production is leading me to do more significant planning.
