OUR STORY: After six years of producing a storytelling festival in the NC Triad that has drawn over 9,500 people, Triad Story Exchange/NC Storyfest Inc. of Greensboro NC has refocused it’s mission. Rather than just one big storytelling festival each year, we are focused on bringing together storytellers to share stories and ideas, hosting performances around the Triad in an “Open Mic” format, providing storytelling development workshops for groups and organizations, especially Youth Storytelling workshops building on the highly successful “Youth Storytelling Collaborative” project in 2009-2010 that involved over 1600 local youth in storytelling activities and performances, and sharing the JOY of listening to a good story.

This group operates in conjunction with the North Carolina Storytelling Guild  www.ncstoryguild.org, triadstoryexchange.org, Triad Poetry Meetup,   http://www.meetup.com/triadpoetry/
