Storyteller Jim Weiss

The charismatic and instantly likeable Jim Weiss makes the joy of the spoken word and the richness of classical literature irresistible. With more than 45 storytelling recordings and 85 national awards from countless educational and parenting organizations, Weiss (www.greathall.com) is indeed a master storyteller. His stories encourage families and their children to share a deep appreciation and understanding of his characters and what we all can learn from each other.

In Tales From Cultures Far & Near, classics of many lands – wisdom from China and Japan, an African romance, and wildly funny Native American Arabian, and Spanish tales – show that human beings are all related. Especially geared for elementary and middle school youngsters and their families.

Free Admission. Limited seating, doors open at 6:15 p.m. CDs available after performance.

Jim is a wonderful storyteller, and was one of the first to introduce me to this medium years ago. I wish I could attend, but am off to visit my daughter in Boston that week. Drats.
