First Fridays at the Greensboro Cultural Central

First Fridays at the Greensboro Cultural Central,  storytellers from the Triad Story Exchange perform from 6 - 8 p.m. Local storytellers present a wide range of stories that engage audience members of all ages in an interactive creative process that brings to life characters, events and places long ago and far away from fiction and legend as well as real life experiences and cultural sharing. Using music, props, and dramatic action, the storytellers perform compelling stories that entertain, inform, inspire and connect people of all cultural backgrounds through the ancient oral performance art of storytelling.

August 1 was just ok, limited venues this month; everything seemed to end early!

Does the August 1st meetup begin at six or six thirty?

Mary Alice beat me to it! The program starts at 6:30. It really does help to have people who want to tell early so I have an idea of the line up. I'll be there around 5:30pm to help set up chairs.
