Hi, I'd like to attend the Thursday night game just to have an overview of how the FOW system works. I'd eventually like to start up a counterpart Meetup group based in Cheyenne... You do realize that this will mean war (eventually). I'm a history buff and gamer (Civilization, Age of Empires, Total War) but have not had the chance to get into military tabletop gaming before. I recently bought the "Hail Caesar" Rome vs. Gaul set and am currently painting the armies. My strongest interests are the Ancients, but I do know some other players here in Cheyenne who are interested in getting into FOW and Bolt Action.

Thanks, Neely. The figures are of very good quality.I don't suppose anyone in the club is actually curious about "Hail Caesar"? Its received pretty great reviews from the various game sites I check out. Is there any reason to limit playing only Saga in regards to Ancient Warfare games?

No, no reason. I've read some Wargames Illustrated articles that used the Hail Caesar rules, but I admit I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to historicals. The biggest barrier for me is time. Maybe you can tell me a little more about it when you come though.
