It's that time of year again for the annual Spring Clean-Up Event! Come join fellow ND alums and friends as we help senior citizens in our local community get their yards ready for summer with a little light yard work. The efforts put in to tidying up these yards are greatly appreciated by the home owners and make for a great time for the volunteers!
LOGISTICS: Volunteers will meet up in the parking lot of Saz's 8:30 where they'll receive information for the day. Small groups of 4-5 people will visit 3-4 homes (and groups may leave cars and carpool/walk to homes), and then everyone should meet back at Saz's at 11:30. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy lunch together, or may leave depending on individual schedules.
MORE INFO: Volunteers should plan on bringing tools and other cleaning items, such as rakes, pruning shears, paper yard refuse bags, window cleaning solution, paper towels, buckets, and anything else that would be helpful in doing the light clean-up work.
We organize the Spring Clean Up through the Sherman Park Interfaith organization. Please RSVP for this great event and contact Margaret Dorsey with questions!
