NECYM is a group of stay-at-home moms in our thirties who are committed to a culture of caring and kindness that breeds support and socialization for the moms, the munchkins, and their families.
NECYM was the vision of two brand-new moms in 2010 and many of our original members and their munchkins have been together since; some of them entered first grade in the Fall of 2015! We are a small group by design with 20 or fewer members, and we excitedly welcome new members any time we are able. Many of our families now have multiple children, ranging in age from newborn to 6 years.
We meet with and without our munchkins. Events include in-home play dates, trips to the zoo, mornings at play cafes, library story times, family cookouts, and girls nights out. We have an annual holiday party in December and traditionally adopt a family during that season as well.
Our potential new members should:
~ Be a stay-at-home mom in her thirties looking for weekday, daytime activities for herself and her munchkin(s).
~ Have an infant or toddler. Older siblings that entered first grade in the Fall of 2015 and younger are also welcome.
~ Live in New Albany, Gahanna, Westerville or Lewis Center. (West of SR 62, North of Morse Rd, East of South Old State, and South of Big Walnut/Lewis Center Rd.)
~ Subscribe to the CDC pediatric vaccination recommendations on either a regular or delayed schedule.
~ Be ready to be active, engaged members who attend a minimum of 1-2 events per month and contribute event ideas to our calendar.
