Since 1861, the United States Constitution has been suspended by the federal government. The guarantee of protection from an all-powerful central government given in the Ninth and Tenth Amendments of the Bill of Rights is ignored. The promise that the states should retain all other powers has been all but erased by the residual effects of Roosevelt's New Deal.
Furthermore, the traditional Christian culture of the South, in all of its institutions and morals has been under constant attack by Northern materialism and Unitarianism.
The League of the South is an organisation of God-fearing patriotic citizens who love the Republic handed down by out forefathers. We are laborers, doctors, preachers, pastors, college professors, lawyers, businessmen, students and your neighbors.
We seek to advance the cultural, social, economic and political well-being and independence of the Southern people by all honorable means and we cordially invite you to join us in our mutual cause. On Saturday, 7 Nov., 09 the Northeast Florida chapter League of the South will have its monthly breakfast meeting at Hunter's (formerly Toby's) Bar-B-Q at 604 New Berlin Rd in Oceanway.
