Kayaking - If you love ... narrow, long, wide water, turtles, waterfalls, rain, fishies, whitewater, birds, sun, rain, reflections, hot, cold, wet, heat, cool, dry, noiseless calm.

We are a variety mix of experienced and inexperienced kayakers. For that reason we tend to paddle only rivers, creeks, and small lakes. However, the more adventuresome can always suggest a meetup and anyone can reply as well.

We try to paddle near you, that is why it's important to make some of the meetups, tell us where you live, where you'd like to paddle and we can see about arranging a paddle in your area!! 

We're composed of 10 organizers.  Four event organizers and 6 co-organizers. Although anyone can suggest a meetup, at least one or two of our co-organizers will always attend a paddle. 

There is no charge to join this group. Occasionally we do have a paddle where there is a fee, which generally doesn't surpass $20 which goes to the host, not NEOK. This is a FREE CLUB.

As organizer, I have almost 20 years kayaking. Started in regular class, learning to balance the yak, paddling with my other classmates while learning to escape from an overturned kayak.  Although we don't require any experience, some knowledge of your craft should be known. We are all here to help each other learn and enjoy the yak. 

So if you think you'll enjoy bouncing on the water while sitting on the floor of your yak with the sun streaming its rays only to reflect off your sunglasses & giving you a nice tan, having your head covered with a boonie hat while kayaking, why not join and become one of us!
