Fall is here,
let the leave’s fall and coolness to set in.
The beach will slowly start to change. And we’ll see less and less people rooming the beach. Our logs will come and go as the winter sets in.
Wednesday is now the official week day of this event. The Mukilteo farmers market is finished for the year so we are moving the event back to our winter and spring schedule Wednesdays.
However I’m making this it to be a floating event, meaning large storm fronts that fall within our schedule could move the event one or two days around the storm.
However do relies that only wind and large amounts of rain will move the event. I like a little sprinkle every once in a while.
With the temps dropping the bonfire starts to feel warm.
So gather up the family and come down and enjoy a evening of fun and friendship.
Kids are highly enjoyed they seem to eat a lot and have great fun.
Mukilteo water front park is slowing down. The lack of sun will make the beach less active giving more solitude.
Bonfire after bonfire were attracting more and more people, pulling them out of the house and stuffing their faces then hurtling them up by the fire.
Yet I have never heard of any complaints, well ok just one.
So come down and enjoy our 21th bon fire of the season, enjoy some great tasty food and meet some new friends.
Our sun is going to bed earlier and earlier, the Sunset is at 6:31 pm so darkness is setting in and the bonfire feels better and better. The ferry lights are now giving us the twinkle that we all love and our friendly sea lions are out and about chasing the salmon.
We last till 10pm that is when the park closes. Strictly Enforced
I'll bring the firewood and I'll stop off and pick up some stuff to grill.
Everyone come on down and bring some grub and let's get warm by the fire.
Dress warm carry rain gear as a last resort along with flashlights.
Pot luck items-
PLEASE NO PEANUT OILS, BERRYS, FRUIT, NUTS OR WHAT EVER THE HECK A PEANUT IS, WE HAVE ACTIVE MEMBERS THAT DON’T DO WELL WITH THOSE BROWN THINGS.
Remember that this event is averaging a lot of people so please do not bring enough of your dish to feed everyone. That would be a food catastrophe or just a ton of extra macaroni salad.
Everyone should contribute an item in some way, bring something that will be enjoyed.
Dispersible items, paper towels, cups, plates can be purchased at Costco very cheep.
I have enough utensils that will last for awhile.
