Maintaining Trails: Pitch in on National Trails Day 2010

To celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 5, WTA will host ten trail maintenance work parties. You can join a WTA on the Baker River Trail in the Mt. Baker Ranger District or on the Silver Star Trail at Mt. St. Helens National Monument. From the South Fork of the Skokomish Trail in the Olympics to the Liberty Lake Trails near Spokane, from Cougar Mountain in the Issaquah Alps to Lord Hill Park in Snohmoish County and even more locations in between...wherever you want to work, WTA has a great day of trail maintenance waiting.

At the end of the day, you will feel a real sense of accomplishment from helping to improve the hiking trails in this state. You might also have a few tired muscles!

To sign up, visit the Volunteer/Trail Work Parties tab on the WTA website.
