  • Windows Azure Infrastructure as a Service will (hopefully) be launched prior to this event. We will take the best content from the Azure Launch and redeliver it to you locally in the Microsoft Office in Cambridge MA http://itproguru.com/1cc. We will also give you the opportunity to start playing with it and/or deploying it or moving your "production" workloads to Windows Azure. Get your migration started with Help from Local Microsoft Experts.

“The Internet” changed everything back in the 90’s. “The Cloud” is just as big and even more important to our careers. Like the Internet it requires a different way of looking at things and like the Internet, those that get up to speed first will reap the rewards. Get started now by setting up your first server. Does not matter what you put up. At the very least, get your web server in the cloud. Then take the next step to get a file server or other infrastructure going. Going through it yourself is the best and easiest way to learn it. Once you learn it, you will be way ahead of your peers and in the process add several bullets to your resume! Do you really think Cloud is a fad or something that can wait? See http://aka.ms/CloudValue

Join us for this Hands-On Event where you will get the inside scoop on Windows Azure Infrastructure as a service. Need help getting services moved. Let's make it happen! If you do not already have an evaluation account you can get one at http://aka.ms/IaaS

What Scenario's can you use to jumpstart your migration to the cloud?

    1. 1)      Convert existing online services from Amazon services to Windows Azure!
    2. 2)      Get your website and other easy infrastructure running in Windows Azure.
    3. 3)      Setup Public Cloud infrastructure DC synchronization with Private Cloud, so as you need to add services, you can add them almost instantly!
    4. 4)      Get one or more of your public DNS server(s) running on a server in Windows Azure
    5. 5)      Get your Certificate Services running on a server in Windows Azure
    6. 6)      Evaluate current infrastructure, determine what services are already overtaxed and scale through public cloud
    7. 7)      Create a “proof of concept” lab that contains a copy of your corporate infrastructure (use Windows Server Migration tools) to create a copy of your production infrastructure in your public cloud lab.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
