Mission: Give IT Pro Community Leaders a mechanism to network and brainstorm. Improve our technical community and assist our community leaders. Always act and encourage others to act in a positive, giving and caring way.
Objectives:
· Build Process and Strategy for promoting influencer published works. (Books, Articles, Blogs, Upcoming Meetings, Etc)
· Brainstorm ideas on how “we (community leaders)” can work closer together or better
· Build North East IT Pro Technical Community

What is NELeaders?
NELeaders.com is a web presence for "North East IT Pro Community Leaders Group". This group was created by a community leader for the benefit of all IT Pro community leaders in the North East US. Over the last couple years there have been a few community leader gatherings. Microsoft has put on a couple and O'Reilly has put on a couple. In attending these leader summits / leader socials, it occurred to me that we should have some way of getting this very significant brainpower of all these people together to solve real community problems. With that thought process and much investigation and questions and answers from other community leaders, North East Leaders was born!
We are a group of community leaders that get together on a normal cadence (once a quarter) to discuss topics that are of interest to the group. The group is made up of community influencers.
Who Should Join?
Information Technology Professional Community Influencers should join the group. That is anyone that has a stake in the IT Pro Space in the North East US. Some examples of people that should join include: Microsoft MVP's, User Group Leaders, Speakers, Writers, Authors, Bloggers, Trainers and the like. Anyone that focuses on a technology that bridge the IT Pro and developer space (SharePoint, SQL, PowerShell, etc.) should absolutely attend. If developer community leaders wish to attend they are welcome but it is an IT Pro leader focused group.
