Why Life Sucks: Enjoying the Lightness of Being

An excellent seminar presented by multiple Phd professor at Baldwin Wallace, Param Srikantia. It examines the possible reasons why we humans struggle so frequently in our daily lives, and provides stratagies for how we can prevent falling into the belief that "life sucks." A very informative, light hearted, entertaining and fascinating engagement!

Five hour lecture was engaging however I probably would've preferred a two-day weekend seminar in some remote, exotic resort. A suggestion?

Also, "Practicing the Power of Now", which John posted links to on the resource discussion a while ago, I believe - is kind of a "how to" guide to many of the concepts that Param discussed today. I found it valuable to listen to it over and over while driving in my car. :-)

I was coming with a friend, and she smashed her car yesterday on rocks while pulling into a parking lot. I'd love to catch this seminar another time.

    John,

Hope your pain eases up. We are all thinking of you. Hope the surgery fixes the issue and you are back amongst us soon.

    Everyone,
I am out of town so I'll miss this too this time. Hope everyone enjoys the event as much as I have in the past. Enjoy!

Can't go to this again due to just having neck fusion surgery on Thursday. I'm gonna make it to one of these someday I hope lol. Have a great time everyone. I really miss you guys!!!

OK, gonna stop and go back to bed now before I write something stupid. Massive pain meds and coherent typing just don't mix lol.

Let's meet at 12:00 at Mikes Bar & Grill - 130 Front Street in Berea. It's rated #2 of restaurants in Berea with average prices. Please let me know who is going so we know how big of a table to get. So far I have Kathy and myself.

Glad to see that this is offered again as I was unable to attend the previous discussion. I really don't think that life sucks ..... be interesting to learn if I am wrong.
Question: two different times are given for this "MeetUp" ..... 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and also 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Which is correct?
