Adam Run & Spring Hollow Trails

*Please read the description before deciding to attend. This is not a slow hike. Thanks

This area is part of the Summit County Metroparks within the CVNP, so the trail is a little more maintained/less rugged than the Buckeye or bridle trails. This 4.2-mile hike includes notable elevation changes and is rated by the Park Service as difficult... but we'll travel it so that we descend the steepest flights of stairs, which will allow our uphills to be on lengthier, more gradual inclines--making it more of a moderate hike overall as there are still steep hills and stairs to climb, but level trail in between.

The trailhead is located on Akron-Peninsula Rd, south of Route 303... south of Steels Corners Rd. (You might see another entrance... on Steels Corners or Bath... That's not it. Use the one around the corner on Akron-Peninsula Rd).

If you arrive after we've started hiking and would like to catch up, we'll be traveling clockwise (left from the parking lot) and completing a figure 8 of the two trails.

*Please take a look at the maps below.

See you there!

Nice ravines with well provided bridge crossings. Budding leaves coming out with green sprouts of floor vegetation begining.

Thanks for coming out to hike a sloppy trail this morning! Probably would've been a little less sloppy without Andrew... but... you know... what can you do?... So it's laundry time. ;-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
