Brecksville 4+ or 6 Mile Hike - Occurring Each Saturday at 2pm; 3MPH or 4MPH

Saturday Afternoon Weekly Hikes-

Slow to Fast Paced Hikes: 
Slow Pace 3MPH – 4-5 Miles (Led by Sandi)
Fast Pace 4 MPH - 6 Miles (Led by Diane)

Start Time: 2:00 p.m.
Start/End Location: Station Road Bridge
13513 Station Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141

Route: Station Road Bridge to the Buckeye Trail connect to Deer Lick Cave Trail Loop, return on the Buckeye Trail. (Slower pace hikers will connect to the All Purpose Trail Up to Deer Lick Cave and perhaps the Stables, and return to Station Road Bridge on the paved path.  Depending upon conditions we may visit Eagles Nest, Flowering Fields - with other photographic opportunities along the route.) All routes are intermediate due to hills, steps and buckeye trail; route conditions will vary due to rain and trail closures.

Dogs - Leashed dogs are welcome.

After the hike:
Burntwood Tavern in Brecksville (1/2 price appetizers and drink specials from 3 – 6 p.m.)

    I'd be interested in doing the 6 mile hike at a 3 mph pace. Maybe there should be a 3rd group, or a trail map with the route so we can find the way.

      Hi Lindsey - Great Idea! However, we are just starting these hikes. I'm sure in about a month - many of these four mile people will be up to 5 miles with optional add-ons. I too will have increased my stamina up to 8 miles at a 3mph pace. You can host that hike 6 mile hike - or for future long hikes - several people want to mirror those hikes at a slower pace. Diane and I used to do that before I broke my ankle; hopefully soon. See you on the trails
