2nd Annual Camp Out at Chickagami Park

Join us for a night of camping at Chicagami Park in Parkman.  We have a great group site reserved that can accommodate up to 50 hikers with a large fire pit, grill and tables. Plan on a pot luck for Dinner and breakfast Sunday morning.  Bring dishes to share and either fire wood or charcoal.  Please indicate what you are bringing so others can plan.  Non-potable water is available at the park.    We will start to gather at "campsite B" around 3 pm on Saturday and engage in the infamous 1 mile night hike after dark.  Those who wish can go kayaking on Sunday at nearby Camp Hi (15 minutes away).

Contact Jim or Liz with any questions.  There is no charge for the camp site.

Perfect! I was contemplating to get a Bumper Dumper with which I was always fascinated ever since I saw it. http://www.bumperdump... I still kick myself I didn't come up with this idea before and patent it myself. We should get one for the club and carry it with us on the trails.

If not into carting firewood, it can usually be purchased nearby, just up past the turnoff on US 422, at least it was last yr.
