FYI, I hiked this trail with a different group yesterday and a park employee warned us against crossing the creek in the area where a part of the trail is closed due to a bridge being down. In her own words, "people have been crossing the creek and it causes damage to the creek bed" or something like that. She said to use a bridle trail as a way around. I am passing this on.

Who would do that???? I can understand what she's saying. I wonder how long it's going to take them to get the bridge done

She said something like end of this year, or next year.

Any idea how long we shall be gone? Should I bring a flash light?
