Hike the Ledges, Lake and Salt Run Trails

We will start at the Octagon and hike the Ledges Trail to Pine Grove then take the connector trail to the Lake Trail and Salt Run, then back to the Lake Trail to Pine Grove.  This hike will be about 6-8 miles depending on the final route at a moderate pace.  Trail and weather conditions will determine miles.  There are hills, especially on Salt Run.  For anyone who wants less distance, there are shorter options. Expect ice, snow, mud, ect.  If you have spikes and poles, I would suggest using them. FYI, there are no creek crossings so getting wet won't happen, this is one reason I'm choosing this trail.

After the hike we will eat, place to be determined.

As always, hike at your own risk.

Thanks Wendy! You got us all moving and warmed up on a cold day! Great route, too. You and Rhonda really whooped on those trails without needing spikes... Tough girls! :-)
